More on Syria's Christians.

Recently, I offered a post on the response of Syria's Christians to the ongoing unrest in their country. More recently, I've read a troubling report from CNS suggesting that Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai may have been denied a meeting with President Obama during a U.S. visit this month because the Maronite leader disagrees with White House policy on Syria. The above video report from Al Jazeera dates from July, but I suspect that the snapshot of public opinion presented here still accurately reflects views held by many Christians in Syria; given what has been going on in Egypt, I don't see how one could blame Syrian Christians for being wary of regime change.
