Hey, Joe, it is truly right and just that you should pray for our Sox. To show you that those of us in Red Sox Nation are true fans, how about if I promise to pray for you during this year of growth and discernment? Sounds like a deal to me!
Those of us who are Cubs fans (and have spent more time in the desert than the ancient Israelites, I might point out to our good and gracious God) are mourning!
I can certainly sympathize, on two counts: 1) We of Red Sox Nation know a thing or two about wandering in the desert; 2) Though my first loyalty will always be to the Red Sox, the Cubs are my National League team.
